"Stepping into our future" - Ford Europe chairman Stuart Rowley

What do you know about the Ford Mustang Mach-E GT?

Welcome to Ford's first full fledged fully electric vehicle and fastest, most powerful version of the Mach-E.

This version has a much more sleek/aggressive look with the changes made to the front end compared to the last Standard Mach-E. This vehicle becomes a lot more convincing as being a "real Mustang" and not just a family vehicle disguised as a Mustang. Even though it does the family part really well.

Sitting 5 passengers, with an 88kW battery pack reaching up to 315 miles range in the right conditions.

It comes with a built in 15 inch interactive display with Apple car play and Android auto.

The vehicle uses twin motors to produce 487 horsepower with peak torque up to 860 Newton meters and goes 0-60 in 3.7 seconds from a rolling start, with a top speed of 124mph.

Ford as a company plans to release seven new electric vehicle models in Europe by 2024. A further push towards their previous pledge to be "completely all-electric by 2030".

The release of the new models will be led by three vehicles with a new "crossover" utilizing the MEB (Modular electric drive matrix) developed by Volkswagen.

The new vehicles will join the E-Transit & Ford Mustang Mach-E in being part of the car giants fully electric line-up.

Officially depicted as a “medium-sized crossover", the first car set to release is likely to be based on the Volkswagen ID-4.

After the recent doubling investment in Germany, the car will be built in Fords cutting edge EV manufacturing centre in Cologne, Germany, set to launch in 2023.
