The Future of Audi Electric Vehicles

This concept electric vehicle is available in two body styles a silver Fastback and an Estate model. The Audi A6 and A6 Avant concepts give us a look at what’s to come for Audi’s next-gen electric vehicles.

What to expect from these Electric Vehicles?

The Audi A6 concept has a 100-kilowatt-hour battery pack expected to deliver a range of 435 miles. Charge times of 5% to 80% in under 25 minutes. Top models of these vehicles will do 0-60 in less than 4 seconds. The current SUV market is booming so it's a nice change to see a vehicle that isn't an SUV or a crossover.

Opinions on the design of these concept electric vehicles

In terms of design, both Audi A6 vehicles are visually appealing. However, they are massive, 5 meters in length and 2 meters in width. Consequently, they will probably take as much space on the road as an SUV. The inside of this electric vehicle has not been finalized so we can't speak on it too much. However, these electric vehicles look likely there will be good headroom for passengers and hopefully good boot space from the outside. The front designs of the vehicles feel familiar compared to previous Audi vehicles, both have the same grille outline known as the Audi single frame. However, there is no grille in the case of these electric vehicles. In fact, the front is almost entirely smooth with an Illuminated Audi logo and metallic E-Tron logo near the splitter. There are also some very high-tech headlights, to say the least.

High Tech Electric Vehicles

This electric vehicle comes with 4 projectors located on each corner of the car. These projectors project images onto the floor while the car indicates letting those outside the vehicle know which way you intend to turn. Unfortunately, this feature is not technically legal in the UK. However, it seems like a good safety feature and we hope to see it in the near future.

There are further high-resolution projector lights on the sides of the car that will welcome you into the vehicle or warn bikers/pedestrians that the car doors are about to open. The rear lights swoop across the whole width of the car with an illuminated Audi logo in the middle same as the front. Compared to most cars with LED lights at the rear, this electric vehicle has OED lights commonly used for top-range televisions. In fact, the way that Audi has utilized these OED lights has allowed them to create fascinating lighting patterns.

The future of electric vehicle entertainment?

These concept vehicles come with Audi's slimmest headlights lights ever but are no less effective. With new light matrix technology, they project a full beam illuminating your path ahead without blinding other road users. These lights aren't just for show or lighting the way ahead. In fact, they work as a projector for games or movies as demonstrated here. Hypothetically speaking when you're parked in front of a wall charging your vehicle, the lights can project onto that wall providing you with entertainment. However, the possibilities don't stop there, In addition, the lights come with many customization options with multiple light-up sequence options.

Do these concept electric vehicles sound like they will be the right vehicle for you? Or are you thinking of getting an Electric vehicle? If so Come to us at Car-Charger.UK and get an EV Charger Installed at your home/business.
