MG4

"The no compromise electric car’. - MG

All-New MG4 EV is MG's first fully electric hatchback vehicle. This Electric vehicle is redefining what people should have to pay for a five-seat EV family hatchback. Though the MG4 is low in price it does not look cheap. Some models of the fully electric hatchback come with different design features that make them look even more impressive. Starting from just £25,995 the MG4 Fully electric hatchback is the family EV you're looking for!

How practical is this fully electric hatchback

Thanks to its thin battery and long wheelbase, the MG4 EV offers plenty of headroom and generous amounts of legroom. The 10.25" touchscreen comes with Apple Car Play and Android Auto as standard giving you complete connectivity at your fingertips. A reasonably-sized 363-litre boot extendable to 1,177 litres by folding the rear seats however MG has not opted to include a front boot. The top specification car models come with a 360-degree camera allowing you to see all angles of the car and assist when parking.

Although the MG4 only has one USB port in the back seat allowing for charging. The vehicle does have 'Vehicle-to-load' capabilities like the IONIQ 5. Vehicle-to-load (V2L) enables an EV to give AC power to appliances or loads such as refrigerators, laptops, or lights.

This Fully electric Hatchback also offers a driver assistance system called MG Pilot to help ensure a safe and relaxing driving experience. Some of the systems that make up 'MG Pilot' are:

-
Active Emergency Braking with Pedestrian and Bicycle Detection: Allows the driver to be actively aware of their surroundings when in busy sceneries and the driver's attention is diverted. In the event the driver misses something the vehicle will alert the driver and prepares the brakes allowing the vehicle to be stopped quicker, the vehicle can also emergency brake reducing the chance of an accident

Lane Keep Assist with Lane Departure Warning System: While lane-departure systems will alert you, it's possible that you could still come out of your lane if you don't act on the car's warning.  Lane-keeping assistance, however, steers you back into the lane when you get too close to the lane markers

Adaptive Cruise Control: Adaptive cruise control (ACC) allows the vehicles to slow down or speed up automatically to maintain the pace of the traffic ahead

and that's only a few.

Batteries and charging capabilities of this fully electric hatchback

You can get the MG4 in two different battery options.

Firstly, the 51-kilowatt-hour battery pack will give you a range of 218 miles and comes with a 170-horsepower motor.

Secondly, the 64-kilowatt battery pack will give you a range of 281 miles and comes with a 203-horsepower motor.

The smaller battery model will charge at a rate of up to 117 kilowatts. Whilst the bigger battery pack will charge at a rate of 135killowats on DC charging.
