E-TENSE Hybrid Electric SUV technology

Regenerative braking: Turning the kinetic energy generated from decelerating and braking into electricity as a result, extending the electric range. In fact, if you run out of battery, regenerative braking will continue to improve fuel consumption.

E-SAVE function: E-SAVE stores energy over the last 10 or 20 miles of your journey for driving in 100% electric mode. This enables you the option to us the petrol engine for driving on the motorway. Whilst saving battery for places where access is limited for some vehicles (such as low-emission zones).

Zero Emissions mode: Ideal for traveling in urban areas. Travel 46 miles in a city cycle with the E-TENSE 4x4 300 version without consuming a drop of petrol. This mode is extremely quiet and the vehicle feels very responsive.

HYBRID Mode: enables you to switch between electric power and the engine.

SPORT mode: tapping into the full potential of the DS7. The engine will put out all its power, whilst assisted by the electric motors.

The 4WD mode available on the E-TENSE 4x4 300 and E-TENSE 4x4 360 models, improves drivability. The power of the engine and electric motors is distributed across all four wheels evenly. subsequently, improving grip regardless of the weather conditions.

Space, Practicality, and elegance all in one Electric Hybrid SUV

In the front, there is more than enough room for tall people. In fact, the rear seats offer decent leg room too, so even those over 6ft will be comfortable.

However, the floor in the rear is high forcing you into an awkward seating position. On the other hand, there’s no central bump in the floor for the middle passenger freeing up valuable foot space.

Door bins are a decent size a nice carpeted feature to them stops stuff clattering around inside.
